Animal Pak review

Animal Pak Multivits review!

It feels weird reviewing a product that has been around for almost 30 years and many of us have known and used. Many claim Animal Pak as a staple in their multivit plan. After all, this multivit has been in existence since 1983. That’s a long time. Universal has certainly established its credibility and no other company can compete with that.

You need to take multi-vitamins/nutrients and keep yourself strong and healthy especially if you are a hardcore competitor, a health-conscious individual, or a serious athlete trying to get to the next level of performance. I’ve taken this multivitamin supplement for almost 3 years, so my Animal Pak review should be pretty thorough.

It has a lot of nutrients that your body needs while you train.

  • Multi-vitamins and minerals to get your body going for the day.
  • Amino Acid Complex. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and therefore essential for building muscle mass. They don’t replace BCAA supplements as this complex is primarily for nutritional insurance.
    • 10 amino acids including Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glutamine, Tyrosine, many BCAAs and EAAs.
  • Performance Complex
    • Uni-Liver, Carnitine, Eleuthero, Inositol, Milk Thistle, and the list goes on.
    • Pyridoxine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (PAK) is included. PAK is known to support fuel energy production in cells and enhance exygen utilization. Pyridoxine (vitamin 6) is involved in the metabolism of amino acids and other nitrogen compounds.
  • Antioxidant Complex
    • Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)
    • CoQ10
  • Digestive Enzyme Complex has Bromelain, Lipase, Pancreatin to name a few. These compounds are designed to ensure the body uses every other ingredients to the fullest. And if you have high protein foods, this will help your digestive system.

Dosing

This is the only downside when it comes to Animal Pak. Each packet comes with a whopping 11 pills, and that’s a lot of pills to swallow at one time. Universal recommends splitting the larger tablets in half using a knife, but I personally don’t recommend that method. It’s awfully inconvenient and you might end up cutting yourself. Another suggestion made was to add the tablets to the protein shake and mix everything up in a blender. Well…do it only if you feel like it. Just take it slowly and deliberately, don’t rush. That’s all.

Animal Pak review – Overall Rating

Animal Pak has 44 packets and for most guys, taking one pack a day will do. (As Universal suggests, if you’re an elite bodybuilder or a competitive strength athlete, and you are training for a competition, then you should stick to 2 packs a day.) I don’t see why you need to take 2 packets a day if you have a balanced diet. Anyways, 1 pack per day is tantamount to 6 weeks. About 80 cents per pack if you shop at Active8 in Canada.

I’ve been taking Animal Pak for 3 years now, and all I can say is that I’ve never once got sick while taking this supplement. Granted, I take some other supplements. But undoubtedly it has played a part in it. I get a good boost of energy every day, and honestly it makes a difference.

With all the nutritional ingredients included in the product, it’s definitely affordable, and it surely outweighs the size of the pills. So if you are lifting, training, running, bodybuilding, competing, or engaging in any type of vigorous activity, then seriously consider taking the multi in order to maximize your workout, recover fast, build your immune system, and get a boost of energy.
