Beta Alanine is an amino acid that, when ingested, combines with the amino acid histidine to form carnosine. Carnosine acts as a buffer for lactic acid in the body which enhances muscle performance, improves power and strength and has been shown to encourage fat loss and muscle growth.
As you exercise Hydrogen (H+) ions begin to build up in working muscles and as exercise progresses this build up of ions prevents muscles from properly contracting which results in muscle fatigue. Supplementing with Beta Alanine delays this effect so in essence you'll be able to lift more weight and complete more sets in the later stages of your workout.
Mix 1 scoop (2 times daily) in water, juice, pre-workout or your other favourite beverage. Increases in Beta Alanine levels can cause skin level sensory effects in some users. Start with 1/2 a single serving to assess tolerance.
